African Rose Oils cc is a majority black owned company with level 3 BEE rating that has a variety of different but strategically related business interests. Essential and vegetable oil production and trading has been our traditional business for over a decade, operating in the Southern African and International market sectors. Although the Company has provided technical support and other consulting services to commercial farmers for many years, and continues to do so, the last two years have seen our business successfully expand and diversify into a comprehensive and integrated support service for emerging essential oil farmers in South Africa. We are, however, an emerging farmer support Company with a difference. Firstly, we actively and preferentially trade in essential oils from the enterprises we develop, via guaranteed take-off agreements with international markets. Knowing that the oil produced will be sold gives confidence and security to all stake holders of the emerging farmer projects we support. Our second distinguishing feature is we operate our own commercial essential oil farm which significantly enhances our support package to emerging farmers.
