Applications are open for the Social Entrepreneurship Programme and bursaries are available for applicants who meet the criteria. The sought-after course takes excellence in business innovation thinking and applies it to the social development space.
Are you passionate about a social problem that you’d like to solve? The GIBS Entrepreneurship Development Academy will be running it’s Social Entrepreneurship Programme (SEP) for the 15th year in 2022. This is a multi-disciplinary training programme to run a profit-making, purpose-driven business.
Social entrepreneurs drive social innovation and transformation in various fields including education, health, the creative arts, the environment, and enterprise development. These changemakers blend lessons from business with the diversity and complexity of social values, and in the process pursue opportunities for change. They seek long-term sustainability, while simultaneously combining the pursuits of purpose and profit when developing and implementing innovative solutions for collective social impact.
The SEP is a middle-management training programme, aimed at those who want to align their efforts to make a difference, measure their impact, and achieve social change by running social enterprises. The programme will be offered in a blended format (online and classroom-based), thus making it accessible to a broader audience.
