Combining a career expo, conference and interactive demo’s, the event brings together more than 1000 Grade 10, 11 and 12 learners with disabilities, and more than 100 SMEs, various HR professionals and leading South African corporates under one roof. National and international sports disabled champions, adrenalin junkies and motivational speakers also attend the event.
The event provides possible employment opportunities to learners, graduates and unemployed individuals with disabilities. It allows SMEs, both established and run by people with disabilities, a unique platform to showcase their businesses.
The demo and conference line-up includes insightful motivational and industry talks, informative discussions as well as featured edutainment activations.
Partners include Microsoft, South 32, Spar, Telkom and SABC who provide a high level of publicity for the event on its radio and TV broadcast channels. This includes pre- and post-event coverage across SABC’s broadcasting radio stations and television channels.
