Luvuyo Masinda, Chief Executive of Corporate and Investment Banking at Standard Bank, said the bank is focused on mobilising capital for women-owned businesses, strengthening women’s role as fund managers and decision-makers, and expanding access to finance to drive growth.

AWIF is a Pan-African initiative developed under the UN Economic Commission for Africa, UN Women and the African Union Commission, with support from the African Women Leadership Network. The pledge is aimed at boosting women-run businesses and increasing the number of women in investment leadership.
