Education is the foundation for all we do in life but for hundreds of thousands of learners in South Africa, a lack of financial resources means that they cannot even afford school shoes, socks or appropriate sanitary wear. These conditions often drive children out of school resulting in absenteeism and higher dropout rates.
The Thebe Foundation is helping to improve the lives of disadvantaged children through the simple act of donating school shoes, sanitary towels and socks.
Thebe Ya Mosadi and Thebe Esquire will be distributing these items to the most deserving schools across the country.
