AdvannoTech’s flagship IoT data fusion platform, VantageX, is now powering transformative use cases in property, agriculture, utilities, and municipalities. Its applications include leak detection and energy monitoring in buildings, smart irrigation and crop tracking in agriculture, and real-time water and electrical fault monitoring in public services.
This growth was fuelled by R6.9 million in funding from Telkom’s FutureMakers accelerator and the Absa Supplier Development Fund. It supported AdvannoTech’s R&D expansion, AI and machine learning integration, IoT hardware scaling, and supply chain efficiency enhancements.
The partnership has earned AdvannoTech notable recognition, including the Telkom AI Innovation of the Year Award (2024), and appearances at the IEEE Global Communications Conference and the UK Tech Hub x Telkom Tech Summit. The company is now expanding into mining, logistics, and pan-African markets, leveraging Telkom’s 5G and NB-IoT infrastructure.
